Charging Redefined

The new Bosch EV400 series charging station features a sleek compact design with an industry maximum 25-foot cord. As with all of our other charging stations, you can charge up to 6 times faster than the standard cord-set that is provided with your electric vehicle.

Installation

The charging station is simple and easy to mount. If you already have a 50-amp 240V receptacle installed, then all you need to do is plug-in the charging station, mount it directly on the wall on 2 simple wall screws, and start charging your vehicle.

Charge Anywhere

The Bosch EV400 Charger is built to be weather-resistant and suitable for indoor or outdoor installation. It will safely charge in rain, snow, sleet and ice or in the comfort of your garage. Please note, for safe outdoor charging, you will need to place an in-use cover over the receptacle.

    Adjustable EV charger.
    Solid EV charger (model EV400) with thick, 25 ft long cable adjustable to 12, 16, 24 or 32 A max at 240 V. At 24 A it charges my BMW i3 (46 kWh) from 50% to 100% in just under 4 hours.

    Dependable and looks good!
    I've had this charger for a couple years now, and we love it! We had it installed right outside our garage and charge our EV outside in the driveway. A longer cord would have been nice, as we have to move some things out of the way to get the car to reach sometimes, but love that there is a switch to turn it on, the green light to let us know it's charging and flashing red when it's not connected. When it's done, all lights turn off. We were thrilled there was a 16amp option.

    wont plug in and latch - oops... yes it will!
    Not aware of any different plug for a 2013 Volt, but this charger is not fitting... wife ran over the factory volt charger so I bought this one. But it won't fit... well... it fits... but the top latch doesn't close which is preventing it from charging... not sure what to do... Bosch - any suggestions? *** IMPORTANT UPDATE *** I've updated the review to 5 stars and I'm leaving it there just in case anyone has a similar (unfortunate) experience... which incidentally had nothing to do with Bosch

    Previously rated at three stars due to difficulty in registering the product. Bosch has informed me product registration is no longer required. Upgrading to 5 stars. A simple (no programing) but prowerful charging station. My last "no name" charger failed after 3 years, I expect this one to be the last charger I buy for this house.
