The Viofo Hardwiring Kit enables parking mode on compatible Viofo dash cameras by providing a direct power connection through your vehicle’s fuse box. The kit features a built-in voltage cutoff module with four selectable power settings and includes three wire leads: constant power, accessory power, and ground.

Hardwire Cable for Parking Mode
Parking mode provides surveillance on your parked vehicle. When the engine is off, the hardwire cable is used to provide continuous power and protects your car battery from discharge.

With ACC detection, the dash cam will switch to parking mode automatically if the vehicle engine is shut off. The dash cam will switch into normal recording when the vehicle engine is on.

Battery Discharge Prevention - Voltage Cut-off
The hardwire cable will provide continuous power to your dash cam in parking mode until your car battery voltage drops to the configured value. 
 
You can set a voltage cut-off value with 4 options. When the voltage of the vehicle's battery drops to the cut-off value, it will stop powering your dash cam.
